Whimsical Baby Yorkie Painting

Baby Yorkie Painting

This new addition to my whimsical animal series is a depiction of a tiny black and gold Yorkie puppy nestled within a pink tulip. I painted him to look like my Yorkie, Angus, the day we adopted him and took him home. He was so tiny that he could have fit into a large flower like the puppy at left.

At first his ears were tall and pointed.  They looked like little wings growing out of his head. Eventually they folded over, but it made him even cuter.  He is adorable no matter what!

I love flowers, and find tulips one of the most beautiful and delicate of flowers. It was the perfect place to hold a tiny puppy to show his innocence and vulnerability in life. Baby animals, like human babies need much care and love. Without it they won't survive.

I painted this picture to represent all the many pet owners who recognize the need to protect their pets as family members because they are one of God's most special creatures.

Size: 8 x 8 inches. Acrylic and oil on archival cotton canvas panel.

Price:  $49.00

Finding Beauty in Art:

Whimsical Baby Yorkie Painting

A photorealistic image of an abstract acrylic painting that utilizes drips, splatters, and layered textures. The colors should be a mix of soft, earthy tones with bright pops of color, showing the beauty that can be found even in seemingly chaotic expressions. The overall mood should be one of peace and serenity, highlighting the appreciation for the imperfect, natural beauty of the artwork.
