Pansy and Wild Flower Garden
I decided to paint "A Garden of Pansies" because they represent a sense of connection to my past as a child experiencing the intoxicating flower garden of my mother. Years later I found a beautiful pansy painting and used it as a source to create a similar version of it. It comes attached to a gold floating frame. The canvas is inserted from the front of the frame, so there is no glass. The frame is about 1/2" deep (see below).
